Hi David, 

I recently got mine repaired by Rio Farmar from Red Dot Repair just outside of Seattle. You can reach him on their instagram page. I recall him mentioning their books were closed, but he is doing this as a passion project on the side because he couldn't bear to hear people throwing out their minilux's due to this error.

He did a good job, had good customer service and I thought the repair cost was reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone.
