StS Posted December 20, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 20, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) In my impression there is strong evidence that violence is part of the human nature, however, I'm still confident it can be culturally controlled. Excellent picture, as always. Stefan
robert_parker Posted December 20, 2014 Share #8 Posted December 20, 2014 A great angle of view and sense of reportage. Really like the B+WS conversion.
sharookh Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted December 21, 2014 ....probably future engineers............ If they're allowed to get there........ This part of the world ( mid-east / South Asia ) has become immensely volatile. Some major out-of-the-box thinking and policies need to be adopted. This has gone on for long enough......... wilfredo Posted December 22, 2014 Share #13 Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) According to Darwin we are genetically programmed for cooperation not competition. Something has gone terribly wrong with our species but there is a way out. I think you will enjoy this film: I AM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYtfnONazTU Great shot BTW! newnew Posted December 22, 2014 Share #14 Posted December 22, 2014 Your picture is the answer to how to fix it. We must be persistent against ignorance, monoculturalism and beliefs to hold the absolute truth... not that the biggest wars are not created by well "educated" people.. but still..
fotografr Posted December 23, 2014 Share #15 Posted December 23, 2014 Unfortunately, I don't remember any time in my life of 70 years when there weren't atrocities being committed somewhere on this planet. The only explanation I've come up with is that on the Universal Time Scale, we humans only have one foot out of the cave. Maybe we'll grow out of it at some point, if we don't annihilate ourselves first.
sharookh Posted December 23, 2014 Author Share #16 Posted December 23, 2014 Friends - thanks for taking the time to drop by. The world needs to move on and accept that like the palm of our hands, every finger attached is different. With the loss of every finger, we dilute its use to the point that it becomes useless.......... So the case of humanity.......!!
XVarior Posted December 23, 2014 Share #17 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) This is a fascinated Picture-Subject combo. Picture wise, I feel locked in the middle of the kids eyesight axes, once trapped there, I'm hit by the third kids arrow-like gaze. Fantastic. To answer your question Sharookh, I think that the Human-Race is far from maturity, must be something wrong with our genetics as was mentioned above.
