Good to see new traffic in this thread :)  Must confess I have rather neglected the C of late but it was the camera I grabbed this morning to try and capture the sunrise. Both are .jpg's - will look at the raw files later and see if I can make improvements, but for now am quite pleased with the .jpg's.

Catches the Portsmouth Sail beautifully, but I have to say I am not a fan of B&W these days.

Each to their own, Richard. I suppose I take a 'horses for courses' approach - but with a tendency to always think "how will that look in b&w."

I have no pictures, interesting or otherwise, to add at this stage because I have been off the case for several months organizing a Congress. Nevertheless, I wish all fellow "C" owners a very enjoyable festive period and a terrifically photogenic 2017, and thank you all for such splendid images posted so far which have been greatly enjoyed. The daily log-in to the forum always switches to this thread at some stage even if there are no additions for several weeks. I hope to start using mine again in the coming months when time becomes free again.
