How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

The little C is an unsung star of the Leica range (IMHO, of course!). To help raise its profile I propose an 'open thread' similar to the other camera-dedicated ones. Hopefully the Mods can make it

Not a picture this time, I'll try to post some the during the next days. I already noticed at some German online shops they offer the C now with the twist case and corresponding strap at a reduced price. When checking some reviews at B&H I saw that the C Typ 112 is listed as discontinued. Anyone else have information that the C Typ 112 is discontinued? Thanks

At last I am trying to show why I like my Leica C images better than my V-Lux equivalents.

The following picure of a close up of a gentian flower was taken high in the Dolomites last month. The best image is from my C just letting it do its thing unadjusted in Program AE mode and biggest clos-up setting. The paler image is from my V-Lux with Macro setting and Aperture priority. I know which I like best..

I just discovered this thread.  I have a M7 and a M8 but the C is my grandfather and travel camera.  I took it to the 24 Hours

of Le Mans last year and used the pictures with an article I did for the Local Porsche Club.  I will post some pictures

when I figure out how.  It has been years since I posted.  I think the C is greatly under rated and do not understand 

why it has been discontinued.

Still on the Leica site and available at some dealers in Germany, UK, Austria, etc, but B&H shows discontinued.
