So there may be little method, if any, in these serial numbers. Welcome, dear visitor! When I got it home I was surprised (and pleased) to see the other numbers were 1234. First time ever I've had an "interesting" serial number!

69xchange Posted July 27, 2023 Share #1369 Posted July 27, 2023 How’s the paint on other peoples black chrome M-A? Is it very easy to see imperfections such as blemishes or paint unevenness under certain lighting?? The reason I ask is because my new M-A paint on the top plate abd advance lever is already showing signs like it’s aging under certain lighting after a few weeks of usage. Also I’m unable to wipe these blemishes out even with isopropyl alcohol and microfibre towel. I know it’s just a tool to be used but when paying this price, I wonder if it’s normal for the black chrome. Thanks!

FWIW, the black chrome finish on my 2017 M-A doesn't have any obvious blemishes/imperfections.

Dam, mine appears to have some kinda coating issue on the top plate. It’s like premature wear of the black chrome paint fading.. Welcome, dear visitor! I just came back from dusk shooting where 1/125 is needed for an aperture of f/4. And I usually like to turn the lens aperture all the way down when not using
