How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

The almost new Leica X type 113 showed up today.  Here is a  test shot while down at the Marina this afternoon.  Me thinks the Summilux f/1.7 lens is sharp!  I definitely need to get the EVF .. that is for sure.

The almost new Leica X type 113 showed up today.  Here is a  test shot while down at the Marina this afternoon.  Me thinks the Summilux f/1.7 lens is sharp!  I definitely need to get the EVF .. that is for sure.

Yes, the lens on the X 113 is definitely sharp, even wide open.

Sorry, I think the images are rather soft (not "sharp") with some barrel distortion and "ugly" cyan sky :(. I think the enclosed pics represent better what a Leica X113 is capable of.

Let me make sure I understand your post: You took my compliment of RickP (specifically about the small interior still life shot) and turned it into self-promotion about yourself, and an insult of RickP?  Just checking....

What insult? Just my oppinion. You must be oversensitive :p. You think the pics ar "sharp", I think the pics are "soft"; that´s it. I don´t need to "promote" myself, only the camera!
