antistatic Posted August 16, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 16, 2014 Love them both but number two is magic. It would seem to be a popular spot in summer. From last summer. Welcome, dear visitor! PeterMuck Posted August 16, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 16, 2014 To be honest #2 is just a lucky coincidence. I was focused on the girl jumping around and the bird flew into the picture just the right moment
antistatic Posted August 16, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 16, 2014 You mean to say you didn't train the pigeon?

pauledell Posted August 16, 2014 Share #8 Posted August 16, 2014 Peter, A great series but No.2 is truly a classic. Paul
Louis Posted August 16, 2014 Share #9 Posted August 16, 2014 Peter, like everyone else, I also think your Number 2 is a very exceptional photo!... It is just amazing; something that you can catch only once in a life time! Do you have any shot from English Garten?
Lee Martin Posted August 16, 2014 Share #10 Posted August 16, 2014 Sometimes you have to work to make this degree of luck so well done with number 2. The young lady in the picture would be delighted to own a copy of this. The addition of the rainbow in the first picture adds to the occasion too. Two great photos. farnz Posted August 16, 2014 Share #14 Posted August 16, 2014 Both are excellent but the second is outstanding. The first pigeon 'selfie' ever shot? Pete.
PeterMuck Posted August 17, 2014 Author Share #15 Posted August 17, 2014 Thank you all for the overwhelming feedback. @antistatic: I'm a man and can only focus on one thing at the time. This time I choose the young lady ;-) @Louis2: Unfortunately I'm very seldom in the english garden, so I have no photos from there @Lee Martin: I've sent a copy of the picture to the lady and I've got her approval to post the picture. She liked the picture as well :-) Now you all now my trick to get rid of the contact data from young ladies ;-)
stuny Posted August 17, 2014 Share #16 Posted August 17, 2014 #2 is superb.
alun Posted August 19, 2014 Share #17 Posted August 19, 2014 #2. Oh yes. And remember - there's no such thing as luck in street photography. One negotiates with chance, as Willy Ronis used to say. So much more philosophical and French
Iduna Posted August 19, 2014 Share #18 Posted August 19, 2014 No 2 is a hit. Lucky you are to have pressed the shutter at the right moment.
