The F1 is not bad on the MM, but softer..

To twist your intended meaning about 'not bad', you are correct it is not, but actually good. ;)

Yes the f1.0 Noct is softer, but sharp is not better if we are concerned about 'good' pictures. We all know that some of the best pictures in the world are technically flawed. I try to not see soft as a flaw (admittedly I struggle), but look for opportunities to exploit that particular characteristic. In fact I am now inspired to drop a roll of Monochrom film into my M6 and hook up the f1.0 Noct and do my regular dog walk. Life is sooo good. :D

Holy smokes. I'm glad I'm not near Australia. Lightning is surely going to strike you for saying sharp is not always good.

You were right!

It just missed. I hid behind the Noctilux and was safe.

I've tried all the Noctilux and summilux 50 (I have the ASPH).

I just shot and Noctilux F0.95 Monochrom long.

I have the 28 cron ASPH but only occasional use.

A F0.95 I do many photographs, I like to think and say that every step I open diaphragm stripping the person going to see your soul.

Bokeh is really exceptional for me.

You should be careful to get out of taking the starlit sky, and work one step below the measurement with this camera and this lens, Noctilux F0.95 see light where there is none.

In my flickr you see many photographs and F0.95 Noctilux f1, and now I'm starting to hang only Monochrom and F0.95

For me, the Monochrom and Noctilux f0,95 is the best equipment.

I love the Monochrom + 0.95 combo. Here are some samples.

Lovely pictures, thanks for posting

Whilst others here are now running after a noctilux I think I'll run after your model and hire her - should be almost as good with an M9 and 50 Sum ;)

You would get more responses if you posted the shot directly here, it's quite a slow web site to click through to :) I'm surprised you say the Monochrom is much smaller than the 240 as I thought there was only 1 or 2mm in it?
Hi Simon

You are correct, in future I will post the pictures directly to the the Forum.

As for a size difference it is very noticeable see the comparison here
