platypus Posted April 29, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2014 This appeals to me very much, simple and charming with beautiful light and tones. How nice to see something of yours!
euston Posted April 29, 2014 Share #5 Posted April 29, 2014 Paul, you have the same film camera kit as I have. I don’t use the M4 much these days but the lens is still in frequent use and still producing nice results, just as yours did for you here.
Iduna Posted April 29, 2014 Share #6 Posted April 29, 2014 Paul, superb result in composition and toning. The sharpness and bokeh are excellent. This is giving evidence that these lenses are such treasures and perform so well even in these our present days as Euston mentioned. Thanks for sharing this nice picture from the 70ies. pauledell Posted May 1, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted May 1, 2014 To all of you, Brent, HSW, Dee, Euston, Iduna Stuart Louis, Ingrid, Edgard and John, Thank you for your encouraging words. I really appreciate them. This was taken many years ago, I have since replaced the M4 with a M6 Titanium but still use the 35mm summicron, the 50mm Summicron and a 90mm Tele-Elmarit lenses. I still like to shoot with film even though most is done with the D Lux 4. Paul

arthury Posted May 3, 2014 Share #16 Posted May 3, 2014 Simple but effective composition. The character of the bokeh gives it a different type of punch to the image. Although the tones are some what muted, the message is still distinctly clear. I can see this as a print on a bookmark or a 8x10 with dark black matte on a wall where one can see it often.
