Thanks a lot, Marc.  I am just like you only now even more "experimental" given the bad experiences that I have had with the film.

Great street shot Adam, like always! Do you use the Cinestill 800 very often for daylight photography? I had very different results with it. So right now, it is not my first choice, just sometimes for some experiments

This is hysterical Edward.  Probably not to everyone, but for some reason that guy looks so goofy :)

A couple of fellow photographers spotted at Wat Pho temple.

wow, this is really great!

In the desert with Portra 400 and 35mm and M6

best regards

That's a strong composition, especially the diagonal regions of different colours. Out of curiosity, have you noticed if that violet hue along the upper left corner is from Portra or is it from digitisation?

Nice shot. Do you find 510 pyro to work better with slow films, like some say?

In Italy it does not seem to be convenient to home make it or buy it.

This was my second use of 510 Pyro, first being with Minox strip of the same film. It is a very active developer used, in this case, at a 1/300 dilution. I like the results for this slow speed (shot at ISO 50) film. The film was over-developed as I did not have enough respect for reducing time to compensate for higher water temperature. I intend to go forward with use of the developer, but, my early experience is that it is not as forgiving a developer as the more common, commercial developers.

The above being said, the final result of this shot is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for when I triggered the shutter. That does not happen very often. :)

I have accumulated the materials to move forward with mixing my own. This particular developer was purchased off of Ebay from a guy in Germany. He was very prompt in delivery, and responsive to questions submitted. I say you should go for it. :)

And don't forget to give your dog a treat.

Best
