I know that some of you continue in digital , this is what said Herr Kaufman

The future is in smartphone ?

In my case I will continue in the film M with optical and mechanical rangefinder
with due respect to people who prefer the electronic viewfinder, the live view, the video on a camera

What do you think of A7 colour ?

Thanks Gary for the link :)

I looked at all the pictures, including those in color.

Digital images are digital, beautiful images but completely synthesized by the camera's computer

In result , It's impeccably sharp images (it's good for some , bad for others) but with "neutral" colors

(characteristics of CMOS sensors)... green is not quite green (as in the film)

For me they are "images" nothing more , and I think you have already corrected them.

I look for the "quality" of a photo, in the "artistic" meaning of the term , with a sentimental side that is when

I look at a picture, I must have a good memory and it's nice to watch like music through a vinyl disc and

tube amps.

I hope you will not be angry by what I just said and excuse my frankness !

For me for color the film remains the reference. Look at my incense sticks picture posted above and my comment.

For b&w , it's something else and I will speak at another time :)

Best regards Gary

Another old one, from a few years ago.  I used to like playing in the snow, especially with a camera.  This is a park that was close to our house.  501C, Tri-X.

How can you get reliably spot on sharpness from that great lens w/o a RF mechanism of some sort and only a focus scale on the lens, which is 40mm and not wide enough to have a deep sharp focus range at different apertures???

Is its reliable crazy sharpness limited to really bright light and infinity?

If not and I am spreading disgusting rumors, please do correct the record.... :)

Still loving these salty shots Adam, although (and I don't want to start another "It's not sharp" scrap), to my eyes, it looks a tad soft, especially left side.

Is it me, my monitor, or the scan? Having a dislike for wires (professional aversion even), that was what my eye saw first, and "soft" too.

NOT a criticism, at all, query.
