I am not sure whether this is the correct place to post my film images, but having just shot the first film through my "new" Leica R3 I felt I should post something. I am sure others will redirect me if I am wrong.

I have a Summicron 50mm f2 lens and this shot is hand held - as will be most of my images. I am really pleased with this as a first result.

Herakut, Ganter Brewery, Freiburg

After developing my own films for the last four years, but then scanning the negatives and digitally post-processing them, I'm now working in the darkroom again after thirty years and also printing the images. It's a lot more fun than scanning. To practice, I first took expired photo paper. Here is my first print in 24 x 30 cm. Photographed with the iPhone.

Paper: Rapitone P 1, expired 1997, Adox Neutol WA
Film: Agfa APX 400 at 320 ISO, Spur Acurol N
Camera: Leica IIIc, Elmar 50mm, f/3.5

Hi Mondo .... what we do in the home lab is different and exciting (it’s magical as my son said)  in comparison with the computer and the laser printer which can become clogged.

Congratulations for your lab work . For the iPhone you can replace with a flatbed scanner like the Epson V850 or V700 and scan in TIFF.

Nice photo in black and white.

Best

Henry

My first use of film for oh, must be 25 years.  I can see I have a bit to re-learn - especially not to expect the flexibility and latitude of digital.  Nikon 35ti + Tri X 400
