Blinded by the light... and the sky so blue. Art Deco meets the Thambar... I´ve been coming back to this picture, Rog. Intrigued by the Step-Curves-Sawtooth-Columns-Sawtooth sequence... Quite a find.

Dimitry, I like the movement in your picture, you transferred the famous S-line of landscape photography to "people" photography.

Phil, what a joyous atmosphere in your picture.  This is not the door for those identifying as "divers" ?

A beautiful portrait. I love how film and your way of processing handels the contrast and highlights. :))

I didn't expect from TriX such beauty, really. Always treated it as coarse, grainy film. Maybe, it's because of medium format 🤷‍♂️

Thank you so much Klaus, I really appreciate that. I'm not sure if you mean do the doors represent people from the LGBTQIA+ communities? If so, I have no idea - it is popular to paint these boatsheds in all sorts of colours and motifs, but if there is any underlying meaning I can't say.

It is a stunning portrait. I'm sure the lack of grain is partly due to the format. But while we continue to think of the classic Tri-X look, didn't Kodak, in competition with digital and with t-grain films, changed the formula and made it more finely grained?

I think it's not the same rainbow as that for LGBTQIA+ but beautiful colors nonetheless!

I found this machine in the backyard of a farm on a late summer afternoon. Negligence or sentimentality... I felt it was dreaming and waiting for another use..

Museum of Popular Culture, Seattle.

The Seattle Monorail runs through the Mopop museum, here the track enters near the museum entrance.

Solid evidence that color at 101 is so sexy and warrants the adroit handling of the venerable Rollei 50mm. Good show!

Cumulonimbus whatever, this is remarkable: right place, right time, right lens, right on! Love this shot, a keeper.

Thanks, Dr. Klaus. Yes, Thambar meets Art Deco theatre facade with a kick from ADOX Color Implosion for grainy toxicity. Heady brew.
