They're are so different from here. It's something we only see in movies. Thank you so much. I was pretty happy with the appearance of the photo after the scan. My first thoughts went to the Portra 160: the great work of Adam, as well as others, with the Portra 400 sort of overshadowed the 160, at least in my mind. It is a truly great emulsion. With Winter, and snow, coming on, I am going to try and shoot more of the stuff through the Sonnars. This was the old, collapsible, uncoated version of the 50/2. Something about an overcast sky seems to really help the rural landscape shots. Best, Wayne 1

But I have no idea if all those "Ruhrpott"-movies from the eighties ever was popular or even known outside the Ruhr area. Welcome, dear visitor! Just participated in a Zoom-update on Retinal Diseases this afternoon.... floaters were not among the usual suspects..probably because the condition is more a test for our psychological equilibrium than a disease or a serious problem. I try to consider the humble floater as a reminder not to be so fussy with the dust on and in our Crons and Luxes...😁 Btw: great compositions lately seems more like a cat he-she is watching out for... or did you train ZOË as a "sniffer dog" ? Lovely photo though. those GD floaters, horrible, just another joy of old age, along with the creaky joints, and love of film

sblitz Posted November 30, 2020 Share #72739 Posted November 30, 2020 This shot of my granddaughter was taken last June in LA using Kodak 250D Vision 3 film. Used Silbersalz and their scans came back with a green color cast that I just couldn't;t correct. Got the negatives back, recently upgraded my Silverfast for the plustek 8200i because vuescan was also giving me bad results for some reason. Anyway, rescanning the four rolls -- yahoo! Now they look right. Maybe not when loaded here, but certainly on my screen .... Welcome, dear visitor!
