This one is some kind of work cart. My father had notes that the brick around the harbor area was part of the restoration after the war. I don't think Marken was bombed or damaged, I think it was some form of stimulus aid.

It is a 'bakfiets' So a bicycle to transport & deliver small cargo. My dad used to ride one in the 50ies to deliver laundry. At the handle you can see a bell :) Nowadays these things are hip and happening again, modern versions (electrical) to transport kids to school ;)

Beautiful Jean Marc. I was in Yemen in 1994 and it was one of my best travels ever. Friendly people,  breathtaking buildings, ancient cities. What a pity that it is almost destroyed right now.

Silver Birch and fir trees growing (or cut) on the slag heap from the last coalmine in Kent (hence the colour of the path), subsequently (after the mine closed) converted into a "country park".  The cut timber creates a hazard for the cyclists who ride their dirt-trail bicycles through the woods.

Leica M6, Summicron-M (III) 1:2/50mm, Kodak Ektar 100, Nikon SC5000ED, cropped and adjusted in Capture One.
