Their time actually is over now, the seeds are ready and so I mowed the meadow yesterday. For more columbines next year ! It is like the Clematis, one cannot help but focus and push the shutter release. Best, Wayne 1

AntonioF Posted July 4, 2020 Share #70072 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) Finally I shot a roll of Polypan F 50. Weird weird film! I don't know how the 2-3 rolls I have were stored, the emulsion was somewhat defected, it scratches, shadows get crashed easily and highlights blown out because of the lack of antihaliation, BUT ... the general character of the film is really nice! I took some family pictures and they look nice to me! Weird but nice! Canon A1, Canon 28/2.8 FD, Polypan F 50 - Stand developed in HC-110, dil 1:119 for 60 mins. Welcome, dear visitor! I use 17min in Rodinal, at 20C, 30 sec continuous agitation initially, then 3-4 inversions every minute. But yes, you have to get used to its Characteristics. In your picture I like how the eyes of your wife shine. Rgds C

I think I saw these vultures in South America--first in a bird sanctuary and after that they were everywhere. Jote de cabeza colorado or something like that. Elmarit 90, M3. grandmother and granddaughter, Dundee, Scotland, June 2020. It makes me think of several that I have of my wife and our grandson. The moments are so brief; the need for casual behavior is needed to not spoil the moment and get the shot. Most are just examples of me opening the lens as far as it will go; set the shutter speed at 5 or 10 and shoot. It is amazing how the importance of exposure seems to diminish as the importance of subject and moment increases. I don't recall camera or lens. Probably IIIA 1.5 Summarit LTM. Kodak Pro Image 100 Thanks. Wayne 11
