Sure, they are very close, but even there, I can walk or grip in the analog pics. This will never work with digital.

Joachim , there are many factors involved :

already the color (sometimes not the same)

then the "false clarity" that gives the digital (smoothed pixels) and not well-defined grains

(in color as b&w) film is sharper, better defined (see many examples I shown above)

and then this "numerical aspect" , to the end "aggressive" lines, "cutting" lines

then it is clear that it is the software that does the job and it's too well so that everything

is at the same level, this is why the image becomes "flat"

And beautiful they are too, something that is missing in this neck of the woods. Keep them coming.

 

If I was honest I thought the APX100 (original too) would have been "less gritty". First thing I thought.

 

Still, lovely shots nevertheless.

since i get more feedback here, some shots with my Leica MA, combo summilux 50mm and voigtlander 15mm v ii -- don't remember which are ektar 100 and which are portra 400 (don't have the negatives yet to double check) .... film is film, though .....
