andybarton Posted March 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2007 You are. Freud would have something to say I'm sure. This doesn't look too shabby, though

stuny Posted March 21, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 21, 2007 Dave - Weird or not (you), this is beautiful for its details, tonal range, contrast and blend of straight and curvy. Your wife will probably think I'm weird, too.
leica M2 Posted March 21, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 21, 2007 I must be weird also. I love gates, doorways, windows. BTW, great shot.

cbretteville Posted March 21, 2007 Share #8 Posted March 21, 2007 Lovely shot! Great example of what XP2 can deliver in tonal range. Don't let the weird part bother you, we're all weird. Why would you want to use a manual focus camera that uses film? And you don't even look through the lens when you shoot...?. My photo buddies think I'm crazy, now I find that weird... - C
azzo Posted March 21, 2007 Share #9 Posted March 21, 2007 Beautiful light, detail and the angle chosen Dave. Nicely seen and captured. Azzo
Michael Hiles Posted March 23, 2007 Share #10 Posted March 23, 2007 M7 35 Cron XP2I have a thing about gates & doorways, the missus thinks I'm weird Gates and dorways ask "what's beyond". They also often imply ambiguity - a powerful ingredient in a picture. They can be a good way of going beyond pretty, to engaging the viewer - which is a key goal of an artist. Your's is very nice.
