I have noticed two posters with Moderator status, in addition to Andreas as the Administrator. How many more are there?

LUF Admin Posted July 16, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2006 Is there a list of Moderators for the new Forum? To be honest - it took me about half an hour to find it myself You find it on the homepage at the bottom of the forum listing: View Forum Leaders / Forum-Mitarbeiter anzeigen The link is: http://www.leica-camera-user.com/showgroups.php I'm going to rename it so the function becomes a little bit clearer. andybarton Posted July 16, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted July 16, 2006 It's because I asked the question this morning. Andreas invited me (since I am a very nice man ), so I said "yes" It probably helps if there is a native English speaker to assist in any case (not that Andreas and his two german moderators can't speak / write English as well as I can ) Business as usual, I'd say. andybarton Posted July 17, 2006 Author Share #11 Posted July 17, 2006 Andy Do you support the idea of allowing 'to buy/sell threads ?, and if yes can/will you push for the idea to be accepted ? Bruno. Sorry, but there were serious discussions and negotiations between Andreas and Leica in order to establish this new forum and one of the stipulations by Leica was that there should be no FS threads or sections. It is not my position to push for the idea to be accepted if this was one of the fundamental rules. There are plenty of places on the web, or locally, to sell your equipment. Well, there were tons of discussions in the old forum and now already in the new forum about FS threads in this place. Many Leica users and members of the forum would prefer that, Leica does not and since they provide basic funding of the forum they finally can decide - period. Leica are paying the piper and hence can call the tune. Which is fair enough.
