Michael - It is certainly British, and though it does have a link with Australia it is nowhere near either of those two countries. It doesn't have an embassy function either. This picture is of one of several structures which make up a larger ensemble.

Michael, I'm not sure there is room for anything like this on Gibraltar - at least on the British side!

 

It is in Europe and is British, so it's most likely to be in....?  :)  - oh, and it houses an extremely English activity, one that mystifies much of the rest of the world....... The date is 1895-7.

Quite right both of you. This is the street view of the main pavilion, 1895-7, with it's new portico, built just a few years ago. The building is in the Arts and Crafts style, so the new classically influenced portico is not very appropriate, but it does look quite good, and is certainly better than what had been there previously.
