A wild guess but could this be from the Vaalserberg (the highest elevation in NL)? Otherwise there is not much opportunity for a shot from above other than from a building ;-)

There might be many other sceneries at the Northsea which look similar.

The lighthouse in the background is shown too small to locate it closer.

Perhaps it is southern of Rotterdam / Zeeland in the area of the Oostershelde / Noord-Beveland / Schouwen-Duiveland?

Very few lighthouses to find near the Vaalserberg

 

It is on the shore, but not to the south of Rotterdam. Here is a closer look at the lighthouse, the tower of which was built around the original tower, as the original tower was damaged by gunholes during the war:

Texel? The lighthouse I believe is Eierland lighthouse.

Texel is correct! Remains the nature preserve to be named.

Stuart, it's not that bad. There is one for which Texel is well known It's an area that's partially flooded when the tide comes in.

In that case, Ecomare?

Very close, actually close enough. Ecomare is a nature visitor center showing the public marine life. The nature preserve I was looking for is called the "Slufter". It really is a magnificent place to hike and enjoy nature. Lots of small and slightly bigger creatures, ranging from amphibian to birds and foxes. And beautiful flora as well. Here is a link:
