Advertisement Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Hi Stefan2010, Take a look here Name this car..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Rona!d Posted May 27, 2011 Share #1302 Posted May 27, 2011 Not too easy for me, I really had to think twice before I answered. The rubber sealing looked so "penetrant" that I really though it must be corean or british Without the second shot or more details I would have failed too. You know how many cars from that era would have been possbile without the second shot, even when you exclude Japanese makes, brrrr. Let´s see what I find next. Guest Benqui Posted May 27, 2011 Share #1307 Posted May 27, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) mmmmm let me try. I think this was a specialty of American cars (woodies), so I start with Ford. Regards Marc
stuny Posted May 27, 2011 Share #1308 Posted May 27, 2011 Definitely American, probably late 30's or early 40's, but it's longer than mpost, perhaps as a stretch.

LuxBob Posted May 29, 2011 Share #1316 Posted May 29, 2011 What a fascinating car. Great style - three sets of doors on either side -ideal for the larger family and presumably plenty of room for baggage in the back. All you need is a motor with some good low down torque. Rona!d Posted May 29, 2011 Share #1317 Posted May 29, 2011 For the misspelling of LaSalle (La Salle) which my iPad "auto-corrects and because I'm far away from my photo-harddrive till this evening, I'd like to hand the next riddle over to someone who likes to jump in. If noboby does, I'd be ready this evening with nice stuff I shot yesterday.

stuny Posted May 29, 2011 Share #1319 Posted May 29, 2011 Rona|d - If I recall, La Salle was build by Cadillac.
Rona!d Posted May 29, 2011 Share #1320 Posted May 29, 2011 Rona|d - If I recall, La Salle was build by Cadillac. Right, a niche brand under Cadillac. In the beginning too many expensive Cadillac parts used, too close to the top brand.
