stuny Posted May 26, 2020 Share #13061 Posted May 26, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Both the Honda Fit and the Toyota Prius have pretty much that shape, and have a small window ahead of the rearview mirror. Let's start with Prius?

stuny Posted May 27, 2020 Share #13070 Posted May 27, 2020 The car hire site (all in Japanese) shows one each red and yellow, but I still have no idea what the car is. On second thought: Probably a Nissan, and maybe the Micra or the Note
gmo Posted May 28, 2020 Share #13071 Posted May 28, 2020 Neither Daihatsu or Nissan, just a few more brands left 😉 and indeed there is one yellow and one red. Welcome, dear visitor! wlaidlaw Posted May 28, 2020 Share #13075 Posted May 28, 2020 Australian built Austin A55 MkII (1959-69) with different tail lights from UK production. Wilson
Jim J Posted May 29, 2020 Share #13076 Posted May 29, 2020 Not an Austin, nor one of the mid-sized BMC Farinas, but you're reasonably close.
Jim J Posted May 29, 2020 Share #13077 Posted May 29, 2020 As an aside, the Australian produced Austin A55 MkIIs were marketed in Australia as the A60 and not the A55. They also had, with the exception of a few very early examples, the 1622cc B Series engine right from the start of production, as did the Morris Oxford and the Wolseley, although the designation of 15/60 was retained for the latter car. stuny Posted May 29, 2020 Share #13078 Posted May 29, 2020 It almost looks like the tail lights of a '56 ford in the USA, which of course it is not. But perhaps an Aussie Ford?
Jim J Posted May 29, 2020 Share #13079 Posted May 29, 2020 Not a Ford, although I can see the resemblance. Wilson was closer.
