Rona!d Posted April 22, 2017 Share #9643 Â Posted April 22, 2017 The basketwork frontspoiler clearly hints to an early Mc Laren F1 car but I'm not sure about the model. Â Seems it's a former bicycle or motorcycle maker, not a (later) car maker. So this is more a motorcycle than a car. There were so many of these makers and relabeled brands that it is not an easy task to find out. Maybe more hints could help, like if it's a well known maker or still exists etc.

wlaidlaw Posted April 22, 2017 Share #9653  Posted April 22, 2017 (edited) Hercules? I know they made bicycles. My brother was mortified to be given what can only be described as an elderly vicar's Hercules bicycle, complete with oil case chain and three speed Sturmey Archer gears for his 10th birthday, rather than the drop handlebars/derailleur gears model he wanted. Edited April 22, 2017 by wlaidlaw
Rona!d Posted April 22, 2017 Share #9654 Â Posted April 22, 2017 Invicta! (Sol Invictus was the sun god of the Roman Empire) Â Invicta Tricars were manufactured in Clapham by W.B. Barnes.

Rona!d Posted April 23, 2017 Share #9658 Â Posted April 23, 2017 That was a hard one, so many small makers, all similar. Interesting research though. The engine makers factory was bought by SS Cars Ltd., which became Jaguar Cars Ltd. Â Off for a sailing regatta, I'll post the next one this evening.
