The basketwork frontspoiler clearly hints to an early Mc Laren F1 car but I'm not sure about the model.

 

Seems it's a former bicycle or motorcycle maker, not a (later) car maker. So this is more a motorcycle than a car. There were so many of these makers and relabeled brands that it is not an easy task to find out. Maybe more hints could help, like if it's a well known maker or still exists etc.

Hercules? I know they made bicycles. My brother was mortified to be given what can only be described as an elderly vicar's Hercules bicycle, complete with oil case chain and three speed Sturmey Archer gears for his 10th birthday, rather than the drop handlebars/derailleur gears model he wanted.

That was a hard one, so many small makers, all similar. Interesting research though.

The engine makers factory was bought by SS Cars Ltd., which became Jaguar Cars Ltd.

 

Off for a sailing regatta, I'll post the next one this evening.
