There's a "home grown" UK pantograph wiper user AFAIK

I believe you are correct, Nigel!

On a Noble GT?

I really don't know, Wilson, but the car pictured isn't a Noble.

Well I'm just about to head for Rome having just got back from Antigua (First world problems I know) so won't be able to post - but I suspect the mystery car is manufactured rather closer to London that Stuttgart 😉

Gosh! Well that had me thinking!

I've just typed-in the locations concerned into the AA Route Planner site and, sure enough, by taking the shortest routes between the towns involved you are absolutely correct. The distance between London and Stuttgart IS longer. By around five-hundred-and-forty miles / eight-hundred-and-seventy Km and by a factor of 18...

There! That's a fine clue for those who are good with 'sums'.

Take loads of snaps (of cars) and have a lovely time!

Ultima GTR which I think became the Noble.

No, Wilson, not an Ultima.

I'm delighted that a picture of a windscreen pantograph can result in so many interesting answers. Just as well I didn't post a snap of the door-handle!

OK; I'm not absolutely sure but this might be the door-handle...

Mclaren has pantographic wipers, but I think they part on the opposite side of the mystery car.

Ah?! I wonder, Stuart, if that might be for left-hand-drive examples?......😺......

My guess would be in the 570 series, probably 570 GT.  I have a fallback position if it's not the 570.

I believe - from my googling - that you are spot on, Stuart.

I can post full images a bit later but please do feel free to post the next car.

Thanks All!

Philip.

Apologies for the delay; I was away from the Mothership.

As far as I can ascertain it is a 2016 McLaren 570S. Simply parked on the pavement some 50 metres from my front door.

Full length snaps of the thing;

Michael -

Not a Packard, but like Packard, there are no more cars from this manufacturer.  Here's another image:
