A sad day for me. My 911RSR leaves for pastures new in Switzerland and for me an end to competition driving, which I have done since starting in 1964, doing the Fintray Hill Climb in my mother's Morris Mini Cooper.

I thought Toyota 2000GT initially also but there is no chrome trim and the windows look too flush/frameless so I think it is a much more recent car…

Also the flattened profile around the wheel arch looks “modern” IMHO

I believe it’s a 2018 year model..

BMW new Z4 Coupé or the near identical Toyota Supra ?

PS For those interested in older cars and hill climbing, there is a Youtube video made by Ivan Dutton, the well known Bugatti Restorer "Prescott Revisited" Ivan, given his advanced age, tends to ramble on a bit, so I sometimes fast forward parts of his videos without I feel, missing a lot. W

If that is from this weekend's Historique, he turned up without a timing strut and had to borrow one!

It was a good weekend's motor sport.  I'm aiming to get back to normal by tomorrow after a weekend as hill controller :)

Graham,

Was he driving Susie's T44, his Salmson or had he borrowed something more potent from his son Tim?
