My uncle proudly arrived at our house one day in the late 1950's with his first new company car, the earlier FA incarnation of the one above, in grey of course. He was a bank manager in Aberdeen, Scotland. My father walked up to it and pointed at the unusual reverse slope/upside down quarter light (to go with the wrap round windscreen) and said to my uncle: "George please tell me they did not do that on both sides of the car". Cruel I know but my uncle was a rather pompous man and very Aberdonian (parsimonious), with zero sense of humour, so needed to be teased from time to time.

Vauxhall Victor FB series VX4/90, late 1961

That's the one!

My Dad's first company car was a Mk1 Cortina which our neighbours and their kids always looked down on because they'd just bought a posh Vauxhall. Apart from the time our fox terrier ate the interior it only ever needed to go to the garage for it's service. The Vauxhall on the other hand was a good source of jokes in our house whenever we saw their Dad walking home.

Sorry for the delay - I spotted this on my way into work - snapped the image from my motorbike.

It is a limited crop, as it is a very distinctive car.

I wonder if a La Ferrari or an Enzo is in Auckland?

I doubt it.  There are car collectors here, and we do see quite a few high performance cars on the road.  Just up the road from me, there's McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, Porsche etc dealerships.  Anything like a La Ferrari, Enzo or F40 will be in secure storage.

You're heading the right direction, though, Stuart.

While Wilson recuperates, lets do something a little bit differently.  The car below belonged to a celebrity, and that's what you must identify since there's nothing challenging about identifying the huge Cadillac Eldorado:
