I don't think so (unless I misunderstood the decent hint)

On looking more closely at the wheels, I can see that it was a hopeless guess.

Feel like I'm gatecrashing this thread a bit, so forgive me, although did partake some time ago....

Anyhow, my guess is a Matra-Simca Bagheera.

Humberette from about 1904?

Wilson

No. You're right on with the age though, Wilson.  This is the oldest surviving example of this particular model.

The other model with a very straight sided engine cover and serpentine radiator would be the 8HP Rover.. Although Rover made bicycles before this, I think this was one of their earliest cars.

It could be either a Ford Model C or a Peugeot Type 63 or lots of others. A lot of 1904 cars had similar fronts.

Wilson

Yes, well done Wilson, it's a Ford Model C from 1904. This was was on the London to Brighton last year and is the oldest surviving example.

We have just added two new vehicles to our fleet. Both similar but different sizes/power output and for slightly different purposes. Below is the exhaust pipe of one of them. Marque, year and model. I will add more detail to assist later if required for identification of model.
