Summary and additional hints:

- Italian

- designed by and named after a company that also has connections to Ford, but is not De Tomaso (Ford used the name for its "luxury line")

- based on a car produced by a large manufacturer (not Ford)

-  If you combine the name of the designer and the producer of the car that served as a basis you will find it right away

If this does not help either, I will solve this tomorrow.

Wilson, where have you been?

Yes, a (Fiat) Ghia 1500 GT (to be precise).

Over to you!

Re the Ghia 1500 I noticed that COYS sold one in Monaco earlier this year but they don't seem to have released a results list yet - estimate was 70-90K i think. Red with rather better wheels (!). A german dealer has a late steel wheeled version listed at €90K.....

PS: I would award extra super bonus points for recognizing the other cars in the picture

Well, the silver one in the middle appears to be a BMW Glas 3000 V8. No idea on the white one in the front left though.

Cheers, Andy
