No BMW - the Hofmeister kink is not quite right  :) Here is another crop. I have blanked out a "dead give away" feature.

GIULIA ! (quadrifoglio obliterated ?... maybe the name only...)

Luigi,

Absolutely correct. I had covered up the cowls over the speedometer and rev counter, which very typically Alfa. A very handsome car and this colour particularly suits it think (I had a Lancia Fulvia 1.3HF Coupé in a similar colour). However the owner then started it up and the horrible tractor diesel sounds emanated. Why when you can have a lovely Ferrari derived turbo petrol V6?

Your turn

Hugh... I even didn't take note of your clear black dot... was SO sure it was a Giulia that answered 5 seconds after : the reason was the I seriously thought to get one and looked to it a lot... if only they had planned a Sportwagon... (I had a 159 sportwagon years ago, and loved it).

Anyway... let's come back to post WWII "oldies"... :) a little view, but with a pair of revealing style details...

My wife had a 33 Sportwagen Quadrifoglio Verde QV. If ever there was a car that needed power steering that was it. The torque steer pulling out of a T junction, especially when the tyres were a bit worn, could pull the steering wheel right out of your hands. With the dual twin choke downdraft Webers, it was not economical either.

My 33 Quadrifoglio oro was more calm... (first version.. 20 HP less than the Verde, iirc) Edited by luigi bertolotti

I had a friend at college in Switzerland, who had the Auto Union 1000SP Coupé version. Vttttt put put put. He kept it in a garage rented from Charlie Chaplin (paid always in cash) in Vevey. Later I kept my car in the same garage.

Here is your next car. Usual Marque, model and approximate year please.
