I give up, which one is it?  ;)

Maybe one of you could explain if this is a Benz or an AMG (as a maker in the papers). The later AMGs were "no" Mercedes, but AMGs. What about this early work? Questionable if this still has a 6.3 or a tuned up 6.8 ltr. inside. AMG offered both versions based on the 6.3 ltr. Anyway an impressive ride but the brakes were a pain for such a high performance engine. The original "red pig" racing car (about 430 hp.h., 265 km/h) ended as an extended (+1m) testcar for finding alternative jetplane-usable start pistes for Matra. The car offered enough space for the big measurement instruments.

I´m not sure how many AMGs were made for private racing teams. The remake "red pig" from AMG company has a "lame" (just 350 h.p.) 6.3 ltr. and automatic gearbox because the big tuned engine destroyed the clutch after just some starts.

That definitely qualifies as a tiny clue.  From this I'm guessing a car with windows.  It might be the rear window on a rear mid-engine or rear engine car.

Stu, we see the front spoiler and what you think is the ventilation for the engine is not part of the car ;-)

But you and Wilson are right  :D
