J_Thompson Posted August 18, 2011 Share #2124 Posted August 18, 2011 Yes, it looks like the engine is not in the front, but I have absolutly no clue even with seeing that air intake. Is this a prototype, rather than a production model?
Rona!d Posted August 18, 2011 Share #2125 Posted August 18, 2011 non italian mid engine no prototype

Rona!d Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2132 Posted August 22, 2011 Lambo. Sorry, not a Lambo. It´s a car built in small amounts, but no prototype. You could order it and get one. Some dozens made.

stuny Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2134 Posted August 22, 2011 The angularity, NACA duct and folded paper design no doubt influencedPete to write, "Lambo," but Ron|ald's already ruled out Italian. Whatever it is it is of small production numbers. Must think about this. Not McLaren nor Saleen since the angles are too sharp.
Rona!d Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2135 Posted August 22, 2011 What else do you need, gentlemen? Shall I send you a webpage-link to the maker?
Rona!d Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2136 Posted August 22, 2011 Another hint: These cars use german engines.
buranca Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2137 Posted August 22, 2011 Rona|d, You always come up with such unique cars! In this case, I am going with: Isdera Imperator. The last shot and its MB CW111 heritage certainly helped!
Rona!d Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2138 Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) Can´t believe we (finally) have a winner: JEFF! It´s an ISDERA imperator 108 with a Mercedes V8 engine. LuxBob Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2139 Posted August 22, 2011 That rear light cluster looks like it is from the old W123 series Mercedes.
Rona!d Posted August 22, 2011 Share #2140 Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) That rear light cluster looks like it is from the old W123 series Mercedes. Not W123. Actually they are from big 450 SEL 6.9ltr (W116) where they also took the engines for the series 1 models from (later they switched to more powerful AMG tuned 5ltr. engines). These parts are expensive for non prototype cars, need technical gov. and safety checks etc. Taking parts from the big makers is much cheaper.
