Indeed a "special" KdF + Porsche + narrow interiour makes a nice "Berlin-Rom-Wagen" and it is one!

This is the "refurbished/rebuild" black car, one out of three ever made and as always with these cars, it´s said to be the most original one (out of two known).

I have certain doubts about more than 25% being original, because it was shown to the public quit late, where has it been all the years?

It was said to be crashed back in the 1940´s and used for spare parts for the Porsche owned one. It was so rare all the time, why now and not 20 years ago?

Good workers can recreate a complete car around an original steering wheel or even a single spark  We know this from rare Bugattis, where one 75% complete car can make 15 more clones of the same type:cool:

Nethertheless it was nice to see another one, after "only" knowing the ex-Porsche/ex-Mathé car which also got some work by the italians by order of F. Porsche in the late 1940´s/early 1950s.

Ronald,

you presented a terrific treasure of vintage cars. The car is a beauty and already shows the shape of the 356.

But now, here is the next car. It is very colorful but i hope it is not too easy. Please excuse the poor quality of the photo.

Enjoy it!

Ronald,

you are right (like always). It is the Paris-Dakar 4x4 version driven by Claude Brasseur and Jacky Ickx. To me this car is really one of the most exciting cars Porsche ever built.

Regards

Marc

Looking forward to your next car

Marc, to me this is the best version of the 959 /961, as a race-/rallyecar it makes perfect sense.

So I have to find the next car, have one, but it´s too "rare" to post. Will find another one soon.

I guessed that the owner added the Z to try to have the car seem up-arket from its actual place. This suggests an inexpensive, sporty coupe - Perhaps the Hundai Genesis or the Honda Civic SI.

No, the original car wearing this "Z" is on the same level with the car shown (at least the most powerful version is above the original car). Both "fun cars".
