buranca Posted April 13, 2011 Share #889 Posted April 13, 2011 Crazy car.... it's your turn to post something... Wonderful thread. I have lurked here and just happened to pop on right after the LM002 was posted. I haven't seen any particular rules, but I assume Leica snaps only -so I ran out and grabbed a few! buranca Posted April 14, 2011 Share #897 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) Audi A8 ...and we have a winner! Over to you! Sorry for the tight shots -I was trying to make a common car look uncommon! Edited April 14, 2011 by buranca
Rona!d Posted April 14, 2011 Share #898 Posted April 14, 2011 Thanks, Jeff. In many aspects the A8 is not that common May need a day or two to dig in my archive for the next car.
stuny Posted April 14, 2011 Share #899 Posted April 14, 2011 Ron - Just their wide and varied use of aluminum makes makes the A8 uncommon, not to mention their mechanical and electronic technology.
buranca Posted April 14, 2011 Share #900 Posted April 14, 2011 Common is a bad word I suppose... too broad? I suppose I meant: I tried to grab a current vehicle and attempt to shoot it "off" enough that it would not immediately spring to mind, especially on short notice... there have been some really beautiful, unique cars in this thread! In the basest sense, you don't really see *that many* in the states, particularly in my region. Stepping up a bit in meaning... yes, an extensive use of aluminum -wonderful (except for insuring) and yes, a great deal of mech/tech -wonderful (except when not working and/or repairing).
