Stuart, you're so close that I have to give it to you. You got the Chrysler and the Ghia parts correct but it's not a Dual. This is a 1954 Chrysler Ghia Special GS-1 coupe. Notice the similarities with the 1955 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia in the area of the belt line fender hump and the curve of the C pillar. This series of cars were built with the collaboration of Chrysler's styling chief, Virgil Exner, who was an admirer of European designers such as Battista Pininfarina and Boano and Frua of Carrozzeria Ghia. The ball is again in your court!

Thank you, John. It certainly is lovely, especially the greenhouse and roof.

There's enough here that I'm certain somebody will get the manufacturer and series, if not the exact model, pretty quickly, and that's enough. I call this shot Rauchenberg Meets Ingres. Extra credit for more detail.

Made in Europe in the 1950s (early '50s?), and in this case belonging to a person in France. Beyond that, I don't recall ever seeing one.

it's not only belonging to a French person it's a French built of this brand I'm looking for. This one is from 1953. one hint: it has something to do with stars in the sky :D!

That colour, those angles, those distinctive wheels - it could only be Ferrari and so I will say Alfa Romeo.

Its neither I'm afraid, but you got the right country.

Um... that's not how it works. It's Pasmichel's round; you can't just drop in with someone else's photo... ;)

Regards,

Bill

Please excuse the new boy. I'll have to win another round and post one of my own!
