WestMichigan Posted May 21, 2012 Share #528 Posted May 21, 2012 Wonderful Image Aviator and a great post to follow Andy's. The only, and I mean only, critique I would offer is that the image has no black in it. It is especially noticable because Andy's image has such a good presence of black in it and appears right above yours in the thread. I'm not saying go overboard and ruin the wonderfully gentle way the Summar handled the tonal distribution in the shot, rather simply tweak it a little. I strongly suspect you might like the results. As always, YMMV, IMHO, LSMFT, & Not Valid In California :-D! Sincerely Richard in Michigan andym911: Cool Picture! WestMichigan Posted May 27, 2012 Share #539 Posted May 27, 2012 Good Images Andy. I really like the presence of the strong blacks in them without any apparent harsh editing in post. The middle grays are still pleasantly handled and flattering to your subjects. I also think your use of selective depth of field is well executed and it seems to add to the visual narrative.
