robsteve Posted December 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Guy Mancuso, Jack Flesher, and I are on a trip to Yosemite National Park along with a couple non-Leica shooters . Guy was kind enough to loan me one of his M8 while I am waiting for my M8 to arrive. Here are Jack and Guy at the Cabin. Tomorrow morning we are off to shoot the sunrise in Yosemite. I used the M8, Noctilux at f1, 640iso and 486 IR/UV filter.

billh Posted December 8, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 8, 2006 The quality of the Noctilux on this camera continually amazes me. And Guy is not dressed in Ye Olde Royal Purple? Do you have a filter for the Noctilux, or is this just an instance where there is no extra IR component? I assume, out of respect for Ansel, you guys are gonna dispense with the color tomorrow?
