Robert Blanko Posted March 4 Share #21 Posted March 4 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) IMHO your current set is well suited for scenic and urban. Regarding suitability for wildlife photography, I have my doubts. But honestly, I do not know exactly what kind of wildlife to expect in said part of Spain. I have travelled a lot in the Spanish Pyrenees where longer focal lengths for birds of prey were very useful. Costa Blanca may not be a prominent spot for this genre, except maybe during the time of bird migration when hundreds of birds of prey migrate to / from Africa. I would also expect that photogenic Bee Eaters could be found the region, however typically only between May and August. Longer focal lengths and fast autofocus would be very helpful... Warton Posted March 7 Share #22 Posted March 7 (edited) I have done this twice: soliciting an opinion from here what one body one lens to bring to Europe, once to Spain and once to Croatia. I have two M digital bodies, 5 Leica lenses and 2 non-leics lenses. What did I get? I was recommended to buy a couple of more new lenses. One guy even suggested me to buy a Hasselblad. I gave up since then, and never asked for opinions like that. Lesson learned: never ever ask for consensus here. Whether you realize it, or not, the bag question will result in considerable good-humored ribbing, here at LUF. 😉 For a seriously deep dive, there are bag discussions in the relevant camera body sections. Here are a couple, in just the M10 section: I believe that there is another discussion in the M11 section. You may have to scroll through several pages. Personally, I would not walk about, in any touristy area, in any country/nation, with too many valuables contained within one bag. To be clear, I am not “picking on” Spain. I said “any country/nation.” Edited March 7 by RexGig0
