michali Posted January 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) M8 & 35mm Summlux Yesterday evening after sunset. Probably the most dangerous animal to encounter in the bush on foot, especially the guy on the left! Luckily I wasn't on foot. Thanks for viewing. pauledell Posted January 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 7, 2010 Mike, An excellent shot with great composition, tones, lighting and clarity. I'm glad you were not on foot also. That would have been very dangerous. Paul

roguewave Posted January 12, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 12, 2010 He got my full attention, immediately. I had a somewhat similar experience driving from California back to NYC. We stopped to relieve ourselves in the open plains and found we soon had unwelcomed guests that had broken loose from the main herd. I'm not sure if it was Wyoming, Montana or South Dakota and frankly I don't see myself returning. It was a rather unpleasant experience.

michali Posted January 13, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted January 13, 2010 Thank you everyone for your feedback, as always it is greatly appreciated. My M9's on its way back from Leica Hospital in Germany after a stupid accident I had with it. I've been using the M8 in the interim. This is one of my first shots with the M8 & 35mm Summilux Asph. combo. The light for this shot was that flat grey one sees in the early evening after the sun had set behind these buffalo. Despite all the hype surrounding the M9, the M8 still delivers great results.
