carlosecpf Posted December 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, My beloved Digilux 2 has just arrived from cameraleather.com and I must say I am speechless. The camera looks superb, even better than I ever dreamed of. Now, finally, I understand what all cameraleather.com loyal customers mean by saying that they would do everything again and that the final result by far exceeds the (long) waiting hassle. Now I am joining the chorus: if I need to do all over again, I would! But as a tip, allow Morgan to have around 2 months and accept the fact that he does not reply emails often. So don't send him you camera around major holidays or close to a vacation trip like I did. The leather I chose is the Mahogany kid skin. The leather strap I ordered from Luigi (leicatime.com) and it matches the exact color of the mahogany kid leather. Here are some pictures of my D2 in her new outfit. Special thanks to Dave Leo who helped cameraleather.com to expedite the shipping process! Welcome, dear visitor! Overgaard Posted December 15, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 15, 2009 Very nice. Brown seem to suit the Leica Digilux 2 the best in my opinion, both this sample and John Thawleys. Apart from color harmony with the chrome and black it's also the "classic" look - which is it. It's a new classic. Congratulations.

carlosecpf Posted December 15, 2009 Author Share #12 Posted December 15, 2009 Thanks guys! I am really happy with it. Here is another picture of her so you can have better sense on her overall look. Her sister, my beloved Digilux 3 is handling this whole situation well but she knows she will get a vacation for awhile. Welcome, dear visitor! carlosecpf Posted December 16, 2009 Author Share #17 Posted December 16, 2009 Hi Pete, You will definitely get an email from morgan soon! Or even better, your camera at your door. I used to email him every other day until I had a response. It's a tedious and a somewhat frustrating experience, but it works. I am looking forward to see some pictures of it!
