stunsworth Posted October 18, 2009 Share #9 Posted October 18, 2009 thx, i'm looking forward to that. besides, i vote for prague The usual process is that the attendees produce a short list for the following year and that's then open for voting by anyone in the forum. Since I didn't go this year I've no idea if Prague is on the short list - or even if the same method will apply this year <grin>.
spylaw4 Posted October 18, 2009 Share #10 Posted October 18, 2009 Now that I'm home, I add my vote of thanks to Ivan for making the arrangements for an excellent Challenge this year in a superb location. Great to meet up at last and to see some new faces as well as old friends. Carl's work is now really beginning, but the paperwork so far has been exemplary! Sorry that you didn't make it Tim (and Steve also).
octo Posted October 19, 2009 Share #11 Posted October 19, 2009 To everyone who visited Malta for the One Challenge 2009 ... Ladies and gentlemen, Thank you all for the lovely two or three days spent together. . . . . . . . Thanks to Carl and you, everything conspired to make it one the best, so far: perfect weather after the rain of the previous evening, best company, though we missed and gave a thought (or a drink?) to familiar faces (Steve, Erl and others who will walk the walk) and, personally a great pleasure in putting a face behind your name. Looking forward to meeting you again. Meanwhile, I'll be looking forward to your entry!
semrich Posted October 19, 2009 Share #12 Posted October 19, 2009 I'm back and can now chime in with thanks to Carl for handling all the details of the challenge and Ivan for all his helpful information for those of us making plans and having arranged the post challenge dinner. This was my first Challenge and it was a splendid opportunity for photography with good scenery and weather, fine food, and the chance to meet, converse with and form friendships with so many forum members. I will certainly want to do it again next year.

It was a real pleasure to meet you all and I would like to thank you most sincerely for the courtesy and kindness everyone extended to us. Of course a special thank you go out to Ivan and Carl for all the effort they both put in to make the event such a success. We certainly look forward to next year but hopefully will get to one or two of the regional meetings before then. _______________ Kind regards to all, Tom & Eileen

I certainly plan to return to Malta and Gozo to experience again the wonderful friendliness of the Maltese people and to ride on those quirky, adventure-filled, exquisitely decorated, yellow buses!
