Advertisement Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hi ArtZ, Take a look here Petition for demanding Leica a real chrome M9, not painted. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luxferous Posted October 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 14, 2009 Count me in. I LOVE Chrome!
sarav Posted October 14, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 14, 2009 Count one, but à la carte!
ArtZ Posted October 14, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted October 14, 2009 Count one, but à la carte! Why "à la carte"? Traditionally, Leicas have been produced with chrome finish as a standard. I wouldn't be surprised, nor shocked, to have the saphir glass "à la carte"... but I will be very disappointed if Leica asks me to pay for the classical chrome finish! Leicaiste Posted October 14, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 14, 2009 Why "à la carte"? Traditionally, Leicas have been produced with chrome finish as a standard. I also prefer to have an "à la carte". I want to get rid of the red dot and M9 inscription.

michael_b_elmer Posted October 14, 2009 Share #14 Posted October 14, 2009 Who is joining me? I do, and I think it is a failure on the part of Leica that they have not presented the M9 in the traditonal chrome finish. Titanium, safari green and white must probably wait until special models are presented when the M9 reaches the end of its product cycle. For the price that Leica demands for the M9 it ought to be possible to specify "accessories" a la carte, just like when ordering a Porsche, BMW or Mercedes. johnastovall Posted October 14, 2009 Share #19 Posted October 14, 2009 I don't care what color the M9 is black, grey, chrome or Hello Kitty Pink. I'm just glad to have it. Does 'real chrome' take a better picture?
