thomasw_ Posted November 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2006 i am unable to state clearly why i like this image, but i want you to know that it rings true with my memories of commuting on the bus as a student, and seeing many reflections, refractions and other light-based phenomena on and through the bus windows:>
stuny Posted November 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 20, 2006 Tuna - A significant part of the success of this image is that you have the camera so far from your face. Nicely conceived and executed.

Overgaard Posted November 20, 2006 Share #6 Posted November 20, 2006 A significant part of the success of this image is that you have the camera so far from your face. Long arms I guess. I like it too. For me it's the filmic qualities and then that one would never guess it was taken by the person in front.

robert_parker Posted November 20, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 20, 2006 Tuna That is an complex and well delivered image - is that you in the centre of the frame - or is the 'self portrait' of the camera ?
fotografr Posted November 20, 2006 Share #9 Posted November 20, 2006 The original Photoshop Layers. I like the complexity of the image. It has a certain aura of mystery to it.
tuna Posted November 20, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted November 20, 2006 Everyone - thank you for your comments. Tuna That is an complex and well delivered image - is that you in the centre of the frame - or is the 'self portrait' of the camera ? Yes, me in the center of the frame and, yes, my arm holding the camera - though, somehow, that arm did manage to create it's own spatial existence in the shadows... franklinh Posted November 21, 2006 Share #11 Posted November 21, 2006 Well, Tuna, I have always loved seeing others have the courage to point the camera back at themselves. It would be nice to see you share in writing what you have learned about the photo of yourself. It's shocking to see ourselves isn't it.
