cam2000 Posted August 14, 2009 Share #2 Â Posted August 14, 2009 While the making of this book I am sure the Leica dealers are not selling to many M8-M8.2.....and to say all this is base on rumours....... I think Leica should step in and clarify with an official statement!
zeitz Posted August 14, 2009 Share #3 Â Posted August 14, 2009 I think the folks at Leica can figure out what to do on their own. I suspect Leica has quiet way sto take action against the leaks that violate their proprietary agreements. It's pretty clear there will be an announcement next month. Â Have you noticed (or I have not found) that Dale Fargas has said nothing? He kept quiet when he knew the S2 information. I'm sure he is doing the same with the M9 information. He'll get my deposit as soon as he is ready to take it.

It can wait for Sept. 9th.

Nicoleica Posted August 19, 2009 Share #6 Â Posted August 19, 2009 September 9th would be a suitable publication date for a tome of this magnitude. It's also Tolstoy's birthday.

Given the tone of some of the discussion of the M9 it's a shame that Tolstoy has already used "War and Peace" as a title. Â Andrew

Andrew Spackman Posted August 20, 2009 Share #15 Â Posted August 20, 2009 How about 'Sensor & Sensibility' then? Â Yes, I think that will sell copies! For some of the exchanges on M8 ownership "Pride and Prejudice" might be quite appropriate. Â Andrew

fotografr Posted August 21, 2009 Share #20 Â Posted August 21, 2009 September 9th would be a suitable publication date for a tome of this magnitude. It's also Tolstoy's birthday. Â Also on September 9th: Â 9th Sept. 1930 : Drunkenness in England is at it's lowest level since 1918 with more drinking places. Also the number of convictions for drunkenness caused through mentholated spirits has also decreased. The cause for the drops are the increased excise duty charged on Alcohol and the poor financial depression with less work available.
