doubice Posted July 17, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2009 A Tatra 603, 1960's vintage. The favourite of the Czech Secret Police StB... Spent a few sweaty hours in one of those in 1968...... Great shot! Best, Jan

topoxforddoc Posted July 18, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted July 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Pete, Poynterama, Jan, Marco and Virgil, Thank you very much. I'm sorry if it brought back memories of the Uprising. You don't see many Tatras around in the Uk and certainly not many on the race circuit. Rona!d Posted August 4, 2009 Share #8 Posted August 4, 2009 That´s great stuff. When the iron wall had gone, a friend bought one back in the early 90´s with tons of spare parts, also a rallye-engine among them. I remember spending some hours on that thing and also driving it. It´s a mix of a double sized VW beetle (also the aircooled engine doubled), a Borgward 2400 and a truck.
