Advertisement Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Hi spylaw4, Take a look here Serpentine Pavillion 2009 - II (B&W). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted July 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2009 Brian - These are more fun in B&W since with the loss of color infromation everything becomes even more of an eyeball bender. Excellent set, and #1 is delightfully confusing.
Michael-IIIf Posted July 16, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2009 Very interesting. What is it? Marine Ply decked in acrylic mirror? I hope it's not breezy in Hyde Park this summer. I must pop along and have a look. Thanks for posting. M
RPS Posted July 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 16, 2009 Brian -- a lovely, eyecatching series. A true joy to view. I wish I could experience this pavilion in person this summer. Thanks for providing the B&W series. I agree with the posters above -- these are better in B&W.
spylaw4 Posted July 20, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted July 20, 2009 Thanks, Stuart, Robert and Michael. On reflection (!) I agree that the B&W ones are better than the colour. Michael - I've no idea what the "roof" is actually made of - I know the poles are all stainless steel - maybe the information panels will say something. Must look whan I next visit.
