My wife in Maui, M8/50 Summicron

My family and I visited Hawaii recently. I shot with both my M8 and my Nikon. These photos were from the M8, using an older 50 summicron (bought off ebay, bent/twisted and used, shall we say, less than gently -- still a wonderful lens!).

Very nice portraits (how couldn't they be...) for light, composition and selective focus.

Great portraits, #1 is quite good given the harsh light. I would be interested in B&W with these.

I want to see her eyes. Yeah her complexion is nice, she looks uber cool with the shades, yet I cannot connect with the subject unless I see the eyes.
