I can see a pattern of a white flower cupped within its smaller leaves on top, and more larger leaves as you go down towards the middle of the mug!

Beautiful picture but did you do the drawing of the flower or it appeared like that?

No, I didn't draw it--it was given to me just that way. A good barista does these designs, and they are actually called "the flower" by those in the business. It is mostly done by pouring the steamed milk into the espresso in a certain way, then finished off with the stem of the thermometer they use get the milk to the proper temperature.

Nice shot, but that's not a "latte" that's a "cappuccino"

There are places in which the "flower" is the pride of the house. I saw with my eyes several barmans drawing on the milk foam with a toothpick creating small masterpieces that last the time of taking the cup and drink.

However, I should not say that being Italian, but i had my best cappuccino in San Francisco at a very nice cafè in Colunbus avenue.
