Marquinius Posted January 27, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2009 This almost looks like a landscape covered in clouds, seen from above. I like the soft nuances and lines. Very special. Marco

michali Posted February 2, 2009 Share #11 Posted February 2, 2009 Virgil- I agree with Ivan. I've just come back from a 1 month safari, temperature running 36c to 42c degrees every day, interspersed with tropical downpours of rain, thankfully! From my perspective your pic might as well be from another planet.

MPerson Posted February 3, 2009 Share #15 Posted February 3, 2009 Virgil - good eye for this simplistic form and well executed. Interesting to print it. I initially thought it was a mountain range pushing up through the cloudbase.
vdb Posted February 5, 2009 Author Share #16 Posted February 5, 2009 Thanks Andy, we just had over 2 feet of snow yesterday...nothing else to do but take more snow photos! I have not printed this or any digital images yet. Need to do more research and dedicate time to learning the printing process.
carylwithay Posted February 6, 2009 Share #17 Posted February 6, 2009 That is one tough shot to keep any detail in but you really succeeded. Caryl
fotografr Posted February 6, 2009 Share #18 Posted February 6, 2009 We have the same problem here, except that your snow is much more attractive than ours, which is chunky from sub-zero weather and getting rather dirty now.
