The sculptor really had a good look at how women stand: hands curled just so, one knee bent a little ... very good work! Choice? On #1, if the background were a little fuzzy, that might have an added positive effect. The shallow DOF works very well in #2, but the layout of #1 resonates with me. The first one really gives the idea of the naked girls shivering in the cold, the second one is more artistic. I like both even if I agree with John about the brick structure.
